What does it mean to be a ProScout discovery?

A discovery means someone who was first accepted through the ProScout interview process, then matched with a major agency or management firm. By meeting with top professionals, they are now actively involved in major print or fashion campaigns and/or are starring in commercials, network television or feature films.

Discoveries you probably already know

Hilary Rhoda

Hilary Rhoda (model, Maryland) This ProScout discovery has become the defining American Supermodel of our time; Karl Lagerfeld (Chanel) calls her a walking Patrician painting. She was also named a "Next Top Model of the World" by Vogue magazine (May, 2007). Once a high school field hockey player, she now ranks in the Top Ten of Forbes' List of highest paid models worldwide. After her rookie season, she completely swept Paris, walking for every top designer (Chanel, Rochas, Balenciaga, Valentino, Vuitton, Lanvin, YSL, about 30 more). In case you hadn't noticed, she's also become the multimillion dollar face of cosmetic giant Estee Lauder. Globally represented by IMG.

Aaron Grady

(actor - Michigan) With nothing to lose, this struggling kid from Detroit was 8 mile before 8 mile became an actual film project. At ProScout, Aaron caught the eye of the Osbrink agency owners (Dakota Fanning's agency), and his inspired audacity led him to L.A. where he landed a series regular role on ABC's "The Big House". This young comic genius is on the rise, and reportedly, he bought his momma a new house with his check recieved from his first ABC pilot. Now that's something the Slim Shady would never do.

Ingrid Schram

(model – Alberta, Canada). Although the thought of modeling rarely crossed her mind, this Canadian gem has been compared to a blend of Lohan, Stella McCartney, Heather Graham. Born in Alberta; discovered by ProScout in the Okanagan (BC, Canada). After 30 agencies scrambled to sign her, she chose JJ Cortez of Management First to manage her. She instantly beat out thousands to become the runner-up in Ford Model’s Supermodel of the World contest. After a brief run as a blonde, she went brunette again and switched agencies to the high board at Elite. With a look of early Hollywood glamour, she’s now a mainstay in the New York collection shows – as well as the new darling of blue-chip magazine editorials.

Lindsay Frimodt

(model - California): Lindsay used to dream of being either a model or Miss America. Good thing she chose modeling. ProScout kicked off her career; she's earned enough to buy homes in Manhattan, Paris, Australia, and Cabo San Lucas. A model since 14, she still says, "I owe it all to ProScout". We appreciate the props (click here to read the interview). Her two most exciting moments? Walking in Victora's Secret worldwide fashion show; and being Justin Timberlake's love interest in his smash video "I'm Lovin It".

Russell Sams

(actor – Tennessee). Remembered as “the quiet guy” back in his home town, ProScout gave him the chance to break out in Hollywood. His performances are unpredictable, edgy, and passionate. He most recently co-starred alonmgside Richard Gere, Claire Danes, and Avril Lavigne in "The Flock". Prior work hooked him up with Kate Bosworth and Ian Somerhalder in "Rules of Attrraction"; also Val Kilmer in "Wonderland". Shane Haboucha

(actor – California). From Irvine, CA, Shane was just another OC kid with a dream – but this kid had talent. Shane went from unknown to one of the hottest “teen angst” actors in America in less than 24 months. His breakout role was improbable enough… remember the Fountains of Wayne music video for “Stacy’s Mom”? Yep… the boy obsessed with his hot neighbor mom was none other than Shane. Next, his “disillusioned youth” talents were polished in “That’s So Raven”, “Judging Amy”, “The O.C.”, “Everwood”. “E.R.”, “Without a Trace”, “Monk”, “Law & Order, SVU”, and Stephen King’s “Desperation”. Represented by CESD (Cunningham Escott Slevin Doherty).
